Knowledge sharing is at the heart of the contracts and procurement team and their working culture.
As a centre of excellence within Halcrow, the team manages and delivers an annual contracts training programme across the Group (typically NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract and Contracts & Contractual Issues), to ensure that all professional and technical members of staff have as a minimum, the necessary underpinning knowledge of contract law and contract administration practices.
Our training team maintains a balance between project delivery responsibilities and lecturing to ensure that practical experience across a range of contract forms and best practice can be cascaded first hand, with up to date knowledge of the current legislation and procedural requirements.
Many of our clients recognise the benefit and value of their professional staff gaining a minimum level of contracts knowledge, and this is supported by the deployment of our training programme for them as an "off the shelf" or bespoke training package.
