Russ MacDonald joins Halcrow’s water and power business group as regional director for North America.
Based in Tampa, Russ will be responsible for attracting new business and leading the North American water and power team. He will also join the region’s management team and will contribute towards Halcrow’s strategic goal to make North America one of its largest regional businesses.
Russ is an internationally recognized industry veteran with more than 25 years' experience in the water and power industry. He has particular expertise in executing design-build and program management schemes for the water, power and transportation sectors. Russ has worked on engineering, procurement and construction projects in North America, the UK, the Middle East, Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand. Before joining Halcrow he served as vice president of the water business group at CH2M HILL.

"He has worked on projects like the London Tideway Tunnels in the UK, as well as others around the world, including nuclear power initiatives. Russ, a founding director of the Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships, will spend his first few months with Halcrow working on projects in the Middle East.
Richard Harpin, current director, water and power services, in North America, will take up a global role that addresses environmental engineering solutions for water scarcity issues.
