April 2010
Halcrow is sponsoring Corporate Water Scarcity Risk Management 2010 – an event and exhibition which brings together multi-national corporations, with complex international supply chains, to share insights on measuring water use in volume and investigating new and innovative strategies to secure business in regions of increasing water scarcity.
With sessions on water risk strategy and focusing on key areas such as agriculture, manufacturing, mining and industrial operations, this event will help many organisations plan their future strategy, as well as implement practical steps on managing their water footprint.
As part of the sessions, Halcrow’s Peter von Lany will present Halcrow’s water risk management toolbox – a set of tools and skills that helps businesses identify the financial, sustainability and production risks associated with water scarcity.
Halcrow’s exhibit will focus on the company’s commitment to creating a water-secure world – by applying its extensive knowledge and project experience to some of its clients’ greatest challenges. With the launch of a new publication and a set of innovative postcards, Halcrow will demonstrate how it’s moving forward with its work to combat water scarcity.
