March 2011
Halcrow has been awarded an extension to its second Environment Agency (EA) national engineering and environmental consultancy agreement (NEECA2) framework from 2010.
The extension will initially run to March 2012, with further extension options through to October 2013 based on performance. This will include our commitment towards significantly contributing towards the government's efficiency targets.
Halcrow has been working with the UK government’s Environment Agency for many years and this latest extension recognises the company’s significant success in delivering improved flood risk management to communities in England and Wales.
Halcrow’s NEECA national framework manager Tom Brown said:
“This is really great news for Halcrow, as the extension is an opportunity for us to continue to offer the wide range of skills we have to help the EA deliver its extensive programme of works. It is also a reflection of the Environment Agency’s confidence with its suppliers, based on our performance in this current framework”.
