The design concept for the development was based on the Alhambra complex in Granada, which incorporates the elements of a fortress, a palace and a residential area

The Four Seasons Hotel is the centerpiece of Doha’s waterfront West Bay business and residential complex.

Halcrow was the project manager for this landmark project, which is the most outstanding mixed-use development of its kind in the country to date, located in the prime development area of Doha.

The design concept for the development was based on the Alhambra complex in Granada, Spain, which incorporates the elements of a fortress, a palace and a residential area into one entity. The West Bay complex similarly combines the individual elements of a hotel and associated buildings, offices, apartments, townhouses and a marina.

Halcrow provided all the project management and site supervision for the successful design and construction of the development, including architectural, structural and ME&P design, cost control, programme and contract management.

The £93 million development consists of a 230-key Four Seasons hotel and resort, a 28-storey office tower, two 21-storey apartment towers, 20 townhouses, a health club/spa and a 100-berth marina.
