January 2005: Halcrow acquired Han-Padron Associates (HPA), adding to its maritime engineering capability one of the largest teams of planners, engineers, managers, and technicians in the industry.

June 2008: Halcrow enhanced its maritime expertise by acquiring 20 industry veterans from River Consulting's River Ports Group, bringing additional comprehensive professional expertise in the engineering, design, design-build, and construction phase services of cruise, container and liquid and dry bulk terminals.

Summer 2008: Halcrow acquired KJM Federal, adding program management oversight capabilities to our portfolio of services. With this, we became a contractor for the US Federal Transit Administration providing project oversight services in Charlotte, NC, Norfolk, VA and San Mateo, CA.
