The group health and safety team
Halcrow’s chief executive, Peter Gammie, is responsible for operational health and safety policy issues.
Group safety director Nigel Valvona is responsible for the administration of Halcrow's health and safety business procedures and providing advice to directors, project managers and employees. Nigel is the competent person appointed under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and leads a qualified team of experts.

All the representatives on group board attend IOSH Safety for Senior Execs along with many other senior reps of. The chair of each of our management committees and staff council have also attended.
