Jens Korsgaard
With around 40 years’ experience, Jens is a leading authority on the planning and design of marine structures and marine transportation systems.
His project experience includes:
- liquid and dry-bulk terminals
- liquefied gas terminals
- river transport systems
- container terminals
- breakwaters
- coastal structures
- marinas
- offshore mooring systems
- submarine pipelines.
He holds numerous patents on offshore oil-production-related systems and was selected to receive a grant from the US Department of Energy under the National Institute of Standards and Technology Innovative Energy Systems program. Jens is co-author of Planning and Design of Ports and Marine Terminals, published by John Wiley & Sons and Thomas Telford.
