New Doha International Airport (Package 15)

The New Doha International Airport, Package 15, comprises the support buildings for the development of a state of the art airport, which will transform Qatar. Halcrow Yolles, as the executive architect, together with the structural and building services engineering teams, has developed the first of the buildings to be erected for this prestigious project.

Halcrow’s involvement comprises the design of approximately 20 support facilities and the subsequent landscaping of the area. These buildings function as administration, employee mosque, employee canteen, medical centre, as well as the general aviation terminal, and general aviation hangar. These unique buildings boast a strong architectural theme recognized in the design of their roof structure, joining them as a harmonious element throughout the site.
