Alan joined the Halcrow board as group finance director in January 2007. Previously, he was group finance director at UK quoted group, Glotel Plc, which provides specialist professional services predominantly to the telecommunications sector.
Alan has also held several senior financial positions in UK and USA based public and private groups, including that of group finance director at FTSE 250 IT management consultancy, Druid Group Plc, prior to its sale to Xansa Plc for £700 million in 2000.
Alan has a degree in economics and accounting from Manchester University and qualified as a chartered accountant (UK) and a certified public accountant (USA) with Coopers & Lybrand.
