Work experience placements

Halcrow understands how important gaining relevant work experience is. In order to help you make the correct career choice for you, we offer summer, industrial and year long placements in all the disciplines we work within at all of our UK offices.

The work experience we offer is an excellent opportunity for you to get a feel for Halcrow projects and working life during your education. While with us you will gain skills and experience in a range of disciplines and will get the opportunity to learn and develop, helping you along your chosen career path.

Having the opportunity to work alongside professionals will help you gain a variety of experiences to broaden your knowledge. You will be allocated duties to help you develop your technical skills and in addition you will become aware of how an organisation like Halcrow is run.

Working alongside your mentor, regular reviews will be carried out to discuss your progress and provide guidance. We do offer a limited number of sponsorship placements and all our students are encouraged to return for further work experience.
