Work experience is an excellent opportunity for you, as prospective candidates, to experience Halcrow projects and working life during your degree years.

We view these initiatives as opportunities to build rewarding relationships with people like you, hopefully leading to a career with Halcrow.

We cannot offer every applicant a suitable placement, but we do review all applications and strive to provide relevant work experience in many of our offices. The work experience is paid and we provide very competitive remuneration.

Trainee technician opportunities

Technicians are vital members of our project teams. As well as being highly valued by us, coming into the company at technician level offers you the opportunity of a clear career path, leading to real responsibility and relevant professional status.

We welcome applications from students studying relevant BTEC OND/C and HND/C courses and can offer continuing training, such as day release if progressing from an OND to HND, or even attendance of a part-time degree to convert your HND to a BEng with Honours.
