Geo-environmental Field Technicians, Bucharest, Romania, ref: 4630
Due to continued growth and development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for focussed and driven Geo-environmental Field Technicians to join our fast paced Environment Team in our Bucharest or regional city Office.
Key Role Objective
The principal function of this role is to provide and supervise field operations in project delivery.
Key responsibilities
Priorities in these roles:
- Preparing and monitoring field work activities such as field surveys and samples;
- Testing and data collation of field samples;
- Preparation of technical reports of field activities;
- Provide organisation of all relevant field activities;
- Supervision of contractors dealing with remediation works.
Key Requirements
Ideal candidates would likely possess a first degree in environmental science, engineering or related earth science, or an equivalent qualification and in addition; be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Construction or environmental engineering field work supervision experience with the private and/or public sectors;
- Good organisation and basic computer skills:
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with external and internal personnel at all levels of seniority;
- Fluency in Romanian and good English language skills.
The position will involve extensive travel throughout Romania and requires spending prolonged periods in the field so the ability and willingness to travel is a must and a valid driving licence without restriction.
