Halcrow is an internationally recognised engineering consultancy, specialising in transport, water and maritime sectors, with experience in infrastructure development worldwide.
Over the last two years, our Australian business has grown significantly and we aim to double our presence by 2010.
As part of our expansion we are seeking an rail business analyst to support and participate in a range of rail projects in Australia.
The successful candidate should have a degree in a relevant numerate subject –economics, maths, statistics or operational risk or equivalent. At Halcrow you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in the rail environment of business analysis:
- Business analysis: demand & revenue forecasting, business & investment planning, financial modelling and economic appraisal
- Organisational change & restructuring
- Rail franchise replacement
- Performance improvement
- Asset management including whole life asset costing
- Due diligence
- Regulatory certification
- PPP transaction advice
- Risk modelling
Previous rail business analysis would be highly desirable and/or consultancy experience.
