Highway design engineer, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Project / business overview

Highway design engineers very conversant with MX road. Minimum experience 4 years in road design. Experiences in the region and Abu Dhabi is a plus.

Key role objective

The principal function of this position is to design roads within the infrastructure designs for all major on-going work in Abu Dhabi Office. This will include primary road network design, car park, other access roads, associated infrastructure, and other client requirements.

Key areas of responsibility

Your priorities in this role will include:

  • Highway design
  • coordination of different design inputs to ensure compatibility of highway requirements, drainage requirements and infrastructure development needs
  • liaison with other engineers regarding their requirements

Key requirements

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:

  • good general highway design skills. Would be expected to have a good knowledge of highway design using MX software
  • previous junction design knowledge and urban infrastructure design would be advantageous
  • ability to deal with client demands . ability to work under pressure

Minimum qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree.
