Commercial manager - environment, Romania, ref: IRC 1144
Due to continued growth and development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a focussed and driven commercial manager to join our fast paced environment team in our Bucharest Office.
The principal function of this role is to lead business development of our environmental consultancy services in Romania.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- provide leadership in developing and implementing strategies in bid preparations and work winning
- developing and implementing key client relationship strategies
- ensuring all business development strategies are within Romanian environmental regulations
- preparation of technical reports and data analysis as necessary
- liaison with both internal and external personnel at all levels of seniority
Ideal candidates would likely possess a first degree in environmental science, engineering or related earth science, or an equivalent qualification and in addition; be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- technical environmental work experience with the private and/or public sectors
- evidence of a broad knowledge of environmental subject areas and a knowledge of Romanian environmental regulations
- a sound grasp of basic business principles and evidence of relevant, successful marketing/selling activities
- good communication skills with the ability to work with external and internal personnel at all levels of seniority
- fluency in Romanian and good English language skills
