Geomatics - water and wastewater engineer, Bacau, Romania, ref: IRC1341
The geomatics team provides support for all departments developing projects which include a geomatics component, thus ensuring an internal market and also an external market especially by means of advanced UK technologies.
To assist data processing resulted from surveys (ariel, ground, bathymetric).
Responsibilities will include the following:
- develop GIS topologies
- elaborate digital plans and maps
- develop and organise databases
- work with RASTER information
- develop symbology standards for GIS
The successful candidate will have the following skills and knowledge:
- operate GIS especially ArcGIS software
- field experience in ground survey
- process data collected in the field using CAD/ GIS software
- mapping capabilities
