Water and wastewater, contracts specialist, Lusail, Doha, Qatar
Halcrow are keen to appoint a contracts specialist to join the expanding water and wastewater team based in Qatar.
The principal function of this position is to assist the Lusail Project team with contract document process for this multi-disciplinary project.
Your priorities in this role include:
- preparing tender documents for this multi-disciplinary project
- providing thorough checking of tender and contract documents (including forms of tender, instructions to tenderers, specifications, conditions of contract)
- assisting the change control process with developing change order justifications/ notifications
Thesuccessful candidate should possess a relevant degree with chartered status membership and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:
- FIDIC Contract administration
- experience of tender preparation and evaluation
- negotiation skills
- experience of Middle East tender evaluations would be advantageous
