Role purpose

The principal function of this position is to advise on progress of civil construction activities during construction and perform daily supervision of the works in accordance with method statements.
Essence of role – key accountabilities
Your priorities in this role will include:
- to supervise the contractor
- management of site inspectors
- reporting to client
- assessment of variations and valuations, monitoring H&S
- review of progress and construction of all utilities throughout the Lusail Development
- review of method statements for construction
Job requirements
Technical / professional expertise
The successful candidate must have a relevant degree or equivalent and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:
- proven record of supervision infrastructure projects in the Middle East
- proven record of liaison with Arabic clients with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic
- previous exposure to resource loaded schedules
- familiarity with FIDIC contracts
- ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
