Halcrow Yolles project wins Alberta Masonry design award

The Esplanade: Medicine Hat Performing Arts and Heritage Centre has recieved the Architectural Masonry Design Award of Merit in the Educational/Institutional category at the 2007 Alberta Masonry Design Awards. The awards were presented by the Masonry Contractors Association of Alberta (MCAA).

Halcrow Yolles provided full structural engineering services for this project. The building includes four major components: a museum; a main stage theatre seating 700 people; a studio theatre with seating for 150; and a “Great Hall.”
