Capital program specialist, Nazir Mir, joins Halcrow
Halcrow welcomes Nazir Mir, previously vice president of the capital program department at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC). He has joined Halcrow to strengthen the firm’s expertise in program and construction management.
Nazir brings over 30 years’ experience to Halcrow, having managed more than US$2 billion in major transportation infrastructure and waterfront development initiatives on behalf of New York City, including the construction of Whitehall Ferry Terminal and the renovation of the Battery Maritime Building, both in Manhattan. He also served as a key member of the NYCEDC crisis response team in the aftermath of 9/11.
“I’ve had the privilege of working on major infrastructure projects throughout New York City,” says Nazir. “At Halcrow, I will be able to apply my knowledge and experience to major projects around the world. I’m looking forward to the challenge and the opportunity to work with such an accomplished team.”
Development director Jonathan Goldstick says: “Nazir’s experience and expertise enhance our service offering, particularly on major projects – in New York and with our teams worldwide.”
