UK: Mayor helps Halcrow celebrate new Bristol location

Halcrow celebrated the opening of its new location in Bristol last night with an evening reception attended by staff, clients and the Lord Mayor of Bristol.

Halcrow has moved from their old office in Clifton due to continued success and the expansion of the business. Halcrow originally opened an office in the area in 2001 following the acquisition of another company.

The Bristol office is a major delivery centre for property services in the fields of structural and building services engineering. Recent years have also seen the establishment of a transportation planning centre of excellence and diversification into water, highways and environment.

Halcrow has many significant clients in the area including the MOD, SWRDA, WAG, Laing O’Rourke, Kier Group, BT, John Sisk, Morgan Ashurst, St Modwen, Wessex Water, Bristol City Council, Swindon Borough Council, North Somerset Council and Bath and North East Somerset Council.

The reception displayed examples of our work from our property, highway engineering and transport planning, water and environment teams.

Regional director, Chris Kearns said: “The evening was a celebration of the success Halcrow has had in the area. The relocation to the Temple Quay business district is an exciting prospect for Halcrow at Bristol and we look forward to continuing our services to our valued clients”.
