UK: Environment Agency chooses ISIS by Halcrow
Halcrow has been awarded a three-year contract for the support and maintenance of ISIS software for the Environment Agency. ISIS, a river modelling tool, is used by the Environment Agency and its consultants for flood risk mapping, flood forecasting and many other aspects of flood risk management analysis.
Jon Wicks, Halcrow ISIS director said: “I believe the main reason why we were chosen is because of the excellent service and working relationships we have built with key Environment Agency staff involved with ISIS over the last few years. Our commitment to the future of ISIS was recognised by the Environment Agency, as was the excellent customer support provided by key members of our ISIS team, most notably Konrad Adams.”
Since 1 January 2008, Vijay Jain ISIS marketing manager has been leading ISIS's sales and marketing team. Through the introduction of new ISIS products and services the team has developed an impressive client base - and this growth is set to continue.
Innovation is also set to continue with the launch of the ISIS user community website in July 2008. The new community will offer ISIS users help manuals, support forums, knowledge bases, training and other productivity tools.
