Halcrow appoints director for its property business
Halcrow has announced the appointment of Andy King as market sector director for its property business.
Working predominately in the north of England, Andy will be responsible for developing Halcrow’s property business and increasing its market share.
Andy joins Halcrow from Whitby Bird, where he was responsible for establishing the company’s office in Manchester. With particular experience in sports and leisure, commercial, residential and education developments, his past responsibilities have included work to support the Sydney Olympic Stadium, the award winning Box Works in the Britannia Basin and the Chorlton Park housing scheme. He has also been responsible for a number of high profile projects in Europe and South East Asia.
Commenting on his appointment Andy says, “Joining Halcrow represents an excellent opportunity and I’m looking forward to contributing to Halcrow’s growing portfolio of built environment projects. There are many opportunities available to the property team, and I am looking forward to developing stronger relationships with our potential clients and contacts and promoting the value we can add to their businesses."
