New Halcrow micro-site - halcrow.com/software
Halcrow has developed a micro-site to showcase the research and development of its in-house software.
halcrow.com/software is the latest in a line of these micro-sites available on the Halcrow website.
Halcrow offers a unique proposal to those involved in consultancy services. As well as the comprehensive knowledge and experience it has in-house, Halcrow is offering training opportunities, technical information and its bespoke systems online at halcrow.com/software.
The new website is the portal for a range of software, including:
- ISIS – river and catchment modelling, developed by Halcrow in conjunction with Wallingford
- SANDS – coastal data management and analysis, developed by Halcrow
- DeltaMapper – visualisation and analysis of spatial data, developed by Halcrow
- Themis – flood inundation prediction
- Damage calculator – flood damage calculation, developed by Halcrow
- Aquila DSF – decision support for river basin development
- MDSF – modelling and decision support framework for evaluating the economic and social impacts of flooding, developed by Halcrow
- ENCOMS – automised control of water networks, developed by Halcrow for DEFRA and the Environment Agency in the UK
- SAP2000 – integrated structural analysis and design, for which Halcrow is the sole UK distributor
- Paxport – pedestrian movement planning, developed by Halcrow
