Halcrow’s Adam Hosking speaks at top conference

Halcrow’s Adam Hosking will be speaking at a National Conference on Coastal and Estuarine Habitat Restoration in New Orleans this month.

Adam Hosking is a principal coastal scientist with Halcrow, based in Tampa, Florida. He has extensive experience in the incorporation of climate change into coastal and estuarine management planning; having produced UK national guidance for strategic coastal planning and undertaken regional coastal climate change impacts assessments. Adam is currently advising on development of the Louisiana Comprehensive Coastal Protection Master Plan.

Adam will be part of a panel for a plenary session at the national conference. He will be talking about building climate change into policy for managing the coast, primarily based upon his UK experience.

The conference will bring timely national attention to the challenges and opportunities to comprehensive coastal ecosystem restoration throughout America and will emphasise the challenges ahead in strengthening a national commitment to coastal restoration. The conference aims to attract around 1,500 people.
