Halcrow, in joint venture with Scott Wilson and Komplet Inwest, has been commissioned by Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji, the Polish water company in Starachowice, to undertake contract engineer services for a cohesion fund project.
The commission, which is led by Scott Wilson, covers supervision of four contracts:

modernisation and extension of the Starachowice wastewater treatment works |

construction of sanitary sewerage in Starachowice City, Mirzec and Wąchock communes |

modernisation of the Trębowiec water intake with WTW and Majówka pumping station modernisation |
 |
water main water treatment works at Trębowiec. ‘Majówka’ water station reconstruction |
The engineer services include the technical assessment of the works contractors’ proposals according to FIDIC (the International Federation of Consulting Engineers) conditions and cohesion fund requirements; supervision of construction (according to Polish construction law) and project management support to the beneficiary in line with FIDIC and European Union standards, requirements and guidelines.
The investment capital costs for this project amounts to Euro 19,990,000.
