New US director for Halcrow

Halcrow has appointed Stacey Jones as regional director for the US West Coast.

Working from the Long Beach, California office, she will primarily be responsible for all Halcrow’s maritime-based operations across the West Coast and the rest of the Pacific Rim. In conjunction with this, as the most senior representative of the group in the region, Stacey will also play a leading role in developing Halcrow’s other interests in transportation, water and the environment.

Prior to joining Halcrow, Stacey worked for 25 years with the Port of Los Angeles, where she was senior director of engineering development. She managed all aspects of the port’s capital development program, valued at $1.2 billion (£635 million), and had oversight of the planning, design and construction management of all port infrastructure, including marine terminals, highway, rail, utilities, navigation, urban waterfront and environmental programs.

Commenting on her appointment, Halcrow director, John Wotton said: “We’re obviously delighted Stacey has elected to join us. She has a wealth of experience in the maritime sector and well understands what needs to be done to help develop the industry over the coming years to meet the growing demands being placed on it.”
