Halcrow has the ability to construct powerful models of airport terminals and simulate the movement of passengers and baggage, offering real benefits to any professional involved with terminal development decisions.
The ability to develop plans and test options prior to implementation provides significant cost savings when optimizing solutions.
As well as terminal simulation, ARCport ALT can be used to focus independently on specific areas such as the gate assignment process and baggage handling systems.
The 3-Dimensional ARCport model is usually created from CAD drawings. However, Halcrow’s Geomatics team has laser scanning equipment which also enables us to capture an existing physical environment for use within ARCport.
