smoke modelling

Smoke modelling can be achieved by a variety of modelling tools, from simple empirical relationships to complex Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.

The results of such analyses are required for the sizing of smoke extraction plant and for estimating the tenability of the atmosphere along escape routes - which is of particular concern in the case of vehicle tunnels.
