The river engineering skill group, hosting some 150 staff throughout the UK, covers flood risk management including defences schemes, control structures, navigation, water resources capital works, fish passes etc. Services include feasibility, design and construction management and supervision.
The principal clients are the Environment Agency and British Waterways. Halcrow are ranked No.1 in the NCE Consultants File for Flooding and Coastal work.
Providing engineering input to projects we work closely with colleagues in Water Management and Environment. The team has an excellent record of developing graduates to achieve professional recognition.
