Mains rehabilitation/renovation

Distribution networks may have deteriorated to the extent that they cause severe operational problems such as frequent bursts, low pressures and dirty water.

Hydraulic, structural and water quality surveys and data analysis can be conducted to assess the rehabilitation needs of the system.

Non-destructive and non-intrusive techniques as well as pipe sampling and laboratory assessment can be used.

Renovation programmes can be engineered and implemented by Halcrow and specific corrosion control methods identified.
