Telemetry systems

Telemetry systems range from small point to point data links, to a wide area system controlling numerous sites and equipment, transferring large amounts of data and controls, every second.

Telemetry systems can communicate via various types of equipment and devices. The most common are un-licensed radio, telephone: leased line (Private Wire) and PSTN, GSM mobile technology, the internet and satellite systems.

Combinations of all communication types can be used to best achieve high data transfer rates, reliability, resilience and a cost effective system.

Halcrow has in house experience with engineers who possess in-depth knowledge of telemetry system design, configuration, integration and commissioning.
