Operational services
Halcrow provides operational consultancy which includes technical and training programmes, management contracts and water supply services.
Commissioning and training
During the final implementation stages of a water treatment scheme, Halcrow can undertake the commissioning and testing of the plant. Training sessions are organised during this period and operational and maintenance manuals provided.
Pilot water treatment plants
Halcrow can organise laboratory scale/pilot plant trials of the proposed treatment processes, allowing detailed assessment of alternative processes in order to identify the most cost effective solutions.
Modernisation, refurbishment and extensions
Halcrow has considerable experience of the automation, modernisation, refurbishment and extension of existing treatment plants, while minimising interruptions to the existing supply.
Modernisation of old plant has often provided cost effective increase in capacity, without the need and expense of constructing a new treatment plants.
