Utility monitoring and targeting

Halcrow operates a Monitoring and Targeting Bureau Service using its own specifically developed software. The results from actioning the findings of the system will typically be a 5-15 percent reduction in energy cost. This service can be offered at two levels depending on your size of operation.

multi premises (50 – 200+ locations)

This service is typically applicable to multi-site operations involving retailing or similar small to medium size premises. Our experience has shown that because smaller sites are frequently remote from the centre and the services that are available there, the savings potential is correspondingly large.


Our bureau service offers a complete package of monitoring, targeting, publicity, education and tariff analysis. It can even monitor the performance of your maintenance contractor and advise of essential changes.

multi-site (1 – 50 locations)

This service is typically applicable to companies with a smaller number of sites, but with higher energy spends. It provides a more in-depth analysis using both moving annual consumption and CUSUM techniques displayed on a single page. It also incorporates an Energy Performance Indicator for monitoring of performance against long term targets.

Every report includes a comment on current trends by an energy specialist, thereby enhancing and catalysing the positive benefits of the system.
