Halcrow has been involved in supply and treatment of London’s water supply for several years through:

	promotion and feasibility studies for major new storage
	provision of engineering design services
	reservoir inspections
	hydraulic analysis and hydraulic design of 5 of the 6 Water Treatment Works
	hydraulic analysis of raw water storage systems
	testing and offline tuning of control systems
	pipe network analysis for distribution systems

Halcrow has developed a particular capability in:

	river modelling using Halcrow ISIS software
	hydraulic modelling of water treatment works for optimal upgrading of capacity and hydraulic design of new processes and works
	testing and design of algorithms and philosophies for automatic control of plant and processes based on HYDRA_N control module and MATLAB/SIMULINK software
	water resources system simulation / optimisation
