These include the natural resources of water, land, energy and the environment capital assets including dams, barrages, water treatment works, aqueducts, river training schemes and transportation networks.

Halcrow has carried out studies in many large river basins throughout the world, for example Mekong, Nura-Ishim, Danube, Brahmaputra, Don, Tigris and Euphrates, Ganges, Indus, Rio Salado and the Thames.
