Added value:
The asset survey involves the collection of data from 1075 sewage treatment works within Anglian Water’s area. A database has been developed to capture all the data so that the client is able to view any of these sites without referring back to data collection sheets for each site.

Innovation:
There are two asset surveys being undertaken at the same time which are being project managed together. This avoids duplication and allows flexibility across the teams. Significant savings are being realised by using long term car hire rates on the 8 vehicles being used for the field work.

Team work:
The teams have been selected from a number of offices surrounding the Anglian Water area in order to minimise travelling where possible. A team from Shanghai and 3 sub-consultants have been utilised to supplement the field survey teams. A total of 17 asset surveyors are being used for data collection over a period of 6 months.
Team meetings are held every 6 weeks to review progress and raise any issues. These meetings are attended by the client to provide feedback.
