Design of a fluvial flood defence scheme for the coastal village of Boscastle in Cornwall to protect properties adjacent to the River Jordan.
The scheme includes 150m of precast and insitu concrete culvert, a trash screen remote from the culvert entrance and replacement of existing sycamore woodland, all within the confines of a conservation area and subject to elevated levels of public and press scrutiny.
