Halcrow undertook a detailed feasibility study of an LRT system in Cebu City, the second largest metropolitan area in the Philippines next to Metro Manila.

The study covered technical, economic, financial and environmental aspects of the rail project. The mass rail transit will cover about 70 kilometres of rail line, traversing the urbanised core of Metro Cebu.

The feasibility study will, among others, determine the desirable coverage of the initial section of the line.
