London’s highly successful Docklands Light Railway (DLR) was extended south under the River Thames to Lewisham and is now being extended out to London’s City Airport and to the Woolwich Arsenal.
Halcrow was appointed to carry out the feasibility study for the extension to Lewisham, its preliminary engineering and the development of the design to enable the appropriate statutory powers to be obtained.
