Halcrow co-ordinated production of Transport Assessment, transport inputs to Environmental Statement and documentation for Expert Witness Proof of Evidence at South Gloucestershire Local Plan Inquiry to support 2500 residential unit / 100k sqm office development at Emersons Green, north Bristol.
Involved close liaison with client team, South Gloucestershire Council, Highways Agency and other consultants.
Included development of VISSIM traffic model to identify development impact and interactions between junctions on the Trunk Road Network. Providing support to client on negotiations for implementing public transport services / Section 106 discussions and input to detailed site design.
