Since 1989, Halcrow has been responsible for the checking and certification of the geotechnical design for all trunk road schemes in Scotland.

This has included major projects such as the extension of the M74 to the south of Glasgow, the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Scheme and the extension of the M80 from Haggs to Stepps
