Halcrow was appointed structural engineering consultant for the prestigious Glasgow Harbour development, which is instrumental in the continuing regeneration of Glasgow's waterfront. The 175 units, incorporating basement parking, are supported on piled foundations.
The superstructure takes the form of an in-situ concrete frame comprising a 250mm thick flat slab cast integrally with columns and reinforced concrete stability cores.
