Masterplan options for growth along 14 mile corridor linking Inverness and Nairn with establishment of a broad landscape and recreation strategy taking account of development proposals up to 2050 in beautiful coastal area of northern Scotland.

A range of green infrastructure proposals were developed that allow urban growth in the corridor to be integrated with the wider landscape, enhancing environmental assets so as to bring lasting and substantial benefits.

Policy and proposals fall into five broad categories relating to protection and enhancement; biodiversity and environment, development; recreation and leisure and infrastructure.
