Scope:

Phase 1 - Route Selection and Preliminary Design, including preparation of Environmental Report and CPO;
Phase 2 - Detailed Design incorporating all the recommendations of phase 1;
Phase 3 - Site supervision of the construction stage.

The Works consist of the construction of a new, standard single carriageway road designed to NRA Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) Standards. The first 500m of the route lies along, or close to, the existing N52. The majority of the route follows a new alignment through agricultural lands.

The main elements of the project works include:

	construction of 4.1 kilometres of new standard single carriageway road
	one Road overbridge carrying the R 400 over the new road at Tullaniskey
	a tie-in to a new roundabout, on the N52 Mullinger By-pass, at the northern end of the route in Tullaniskey
	a tie-in to the existing N52 roadway at Carrick Bridge in Paslickstown the southern end of the route; Construction of drainage systems, ducting and culverts;
		construction of junction link roads to tie-in to existing roads along the route
		landscaping and fencing
		miscellaneous accommodation works, roadmarking, signage.
