Scope:

Halcrow Barry were appointed by South Tipperary County Council to develop a 32km section of the N8 between Cashel and the Limerick County boundary as part of the National Road Authority’s National Roads Programme. Halcrow Barry were responsible for the route selection study, preliminary design and preparing draft EIS and CPO documents. Construction commenced in March of 2006 and the site team of up to fourteen will monitor the works until completion expected in May 2009.
