Halcrow carried out and independent design review and check for all civil engineering, associated environmental works and M & E elements of this £172M project for a new parallel runway and associated taxiways. The project involved cut and cover tunnels for existing road and river. Substantial environmental mitigation measures were required as part of the planning restrictions.
