The Project is related to investments in the water-supply and sewage disposal system both those related to the system development and to the system upgrading. It is located in the Municipality of Łódź - the Voivodship capital, with 779 000 inhabitants and in the Łódź Voivodship area.

It is a continuation of a project financed from the ISPA funds.
The Project activities include upgrading of the existing structures and building of new elements of the system:

1)         Raise the water production equipment standard
2)         Upgrade the distribution waterworks system
3)         Upgrade the sanitary sewage system
4)         Upgrade the combined sewerage system
5)         Upgrade the storm-water system
6)         Upgrade the Combined Sewage Treatment Plant of the Łódź Urban Agglomeration
7)         Develop the sanitary sewage system and waterworks system

The basic project objective is to fulfil EU Council Directive 91/271/EEC on sewage treatment in urbanized areas.

The Engineer objective is to perform the Engineer’s duties to fulfil the Tasks executed in accordance with the provisions of FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Works Designed by the Employer and FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Works Designed by the Contractor and in accordance with the construction law binding in Poland.
