Halcrow designed and supervised the works for the prestigious River Brent Enhancement Scheme.

The scheme aims to

• reduce crime and create a safe and restored environment
• improve the quality of the public open space
• improve the landscape/ visual amenity value of the area
• improve public access to the river and surrounding open space
• maintain flood protection to existing properties
• engage the community, including local schools, in nature conservation
• establish links with the local intermediate labour market.
